Mauro Zarate linked with a move to Arsenal.

Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen on Argentine striker Mauro Zarate, according to one of the player's agent.

"Zarate has many admirers in England and there are three Premier league clubs which have asked about him: they are liverpool, Arsenal and Stoke city," - Lazio club adviser Jose Alberti told Italian website TMW.

Arsenal have extended their shirt and stadium sponsorship with airline Emirate in a deal worth £150m to the club, with part of the payment brought forward so the Gunners can invest in transfers in the January transfer window.

Arsenal are reportedly ready to sell Emmanuel Frimpong in the January transfer window, with the midfielder's contract due to expire next summer according to the Metro.

Wolves are said to be keen on the defensive midfielder following a loan spell he had at the club last season.

Arsene wenger is convinced that his team are capable of winning the Premier League this season according to ESPN.

When questioned whether his side could challenge for the title he replied:
"Of course, yes why not?".

"All of us were disappointed not to beat fulham because we had the chances to do that and in the end we were frustrated, but there were many positives to take from the game.
